I never thought I’d be able to walk properly again.
A few months ago, I could barely walk in a straight line. I was wobbly, unsteady, and scared every time I stood up. Turned out I had cervical myelopathy — basically, my neck was crushing my spinal cord. It got worse so fast that I honestly thought that was it for me.
I had surgery, and today… I went for a walk. A proper walk. No wobbling, no fear of falling over. Just me, on my feet, walking steady.
It probably sounds small, but when you’ve had something as simple as walking taken away from you, it changes everything. I’ll never take it for granted again. Every step feels like a second chance. ![]()
